Ben Dominguez built Ben Dominguez Law Firm to serve the largest Spanish-speaking legal market in the United States — Houston's 1.5 million Hispanic residents — at the same analytical depth English-speaking clients have always received. A fourth-generation Texan whose father grew up in the Magnolia Area by Mason Park and Navigation, Ben understands Houston's working families from the inside. The firm operates the "Ben Wins" brand: aggressive, results-driven trial advocacy explained the way you would want a friend to explain it to you at the kitchen table. Ben handles the full personal injury spectrum, including car accidents on the 610 Loop and I-10, 18-wheeler collisions on Houston's freight corridors, motorcycle and rideshare wrecks in Montrose and Pasadena, pedestrian and bicycle injuries, slip and fall cases, construction injuries at the Ship Channel, dog bites, and wrongful death claims. The firm runs primary properties in both English (benwins.com, bendominguez.law) and Spanish (houstonabogadoaccidentes.com), and answers two community-recognized phone lines — (713) 804-6822 for English and (713) 713-7777 for Spanish — so injured Houstonians and their families can reach a lawyer in the language they think in.
What Inspired Ben?
Ben's path to law began with a childhood memory of a "Keep America Clean" commercial featuring a Native American chief with tears in his eyes as people threw trash on highways. That image sparked his interest in environmental protection and clean air and water issues. Though he went to Vermont Law School specifically for their top-ranked environmental law program and studied under the former EPA administrator, Texas had different plans. "This is Texas. This is about oil and gas," he realized when he returned home. "No one really cared about environmental laws as much as they cared about oil and gas." What started as environmental idealism became a calling to protect Houston's working families — especially Spanish-speaking families like his own, whose roots trace back to his grandmother born in an open-air house with thatch roof in the Magnolia Area.
Mission & Vision
Ben's mission is simple: give every injured Houstonian the same depth of analysis and aggressive advocacy, whether they speak English or Spanish. "Every client has a different story," he explains. "Whether it's an accident in a car or they fell from a skyscraper, everyone has their own story, their background, how it's affected them." The firm operates on contingency — clients pay no attorney fees unless Ben wins. His staff of 10 are all fluent in Spanish, so Spanish-speaking clients never wait on hold for someone who can help them. Ben publishes his cell phone number on his website and meets clients through text, WhatsApp, Zoom, or in person at his Museum Tower office.
Career History
Ben Dominguez has spent more than three decades practicing personal injury law in Houston, serving a community that few firms staff to handle in two languages at this depth. After earning his J.D. and master's in environmental law from Vermont Law School (ranked #1 in environmental law at the time), Ben returned to Texas expecting to practice environmental law, only to discover that in oil and gas country, "no one really cared about environmental laws as much as they cared about oil and gas." He pivoted to personal injury work and found his calling. The firm has built its reputation case by case across Harris County — car wrecks on the 610 Loop, I-45, and I-10, 18-wheeler collisions on Houston's freight corridors, motorcycle and rideshare incidents in Montrose and the Heights, pedestrian and bicycle hits in Pasadena and Spring, and on-the-job injuries at the Ship Channel and on construction sites across the metro. Recent years have brought a deliberate shift toward larger commercial-vehicle and catastrophic-injury matters, while the firm continues to handle the full spectrum of Texas personal injury work for Houston-area families.

Ben Dominguez builds lifetime-of-care plans with treating physicians, life-care planners, and vocational economists for trial in Harris County. Save every medical record, ER discharge sheet, and rehab progress note if a hospital has admitted your family member.
Slip and Fall
Ben Dominguez represents people hurt at Houston businesses, apartment complexes, and public properties. Ben Dominguez files premises claims under Texas's invitee duty rule, which requires owners to keep property reasonably safe and to warn of known hazards.
